Storeducks Inc. (“Storeducks”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use our services (“Services”) — including our web platform and any integrations with third-party platforms such as Etsy, TikTok, and Instagram/Meta.

This Policy applies to all users of the Storeducks platform, including those accessing via request-only Beta access.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide

  • Account registration data: name, email address, business name

  • Marketplace credentials and OAuth tokens: Etsy, TikTok, Instagram/Meta

  • Product listing content: titles, descriptions, images, pricing, inventory data

  • Feedback, support communications, and bug reports

2.2 Data We Collect Automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps

  • Usage and feature interaction data

  • Error and diagnostic data

2.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Storeducks uses only non-essential cookies (such as analytics and preference cookies) with your explicit prior consent. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies without consent. Strictly necessary cookies (e.g., session management) are set without consent as they are required for the platform to function.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie preference panel available in the platform. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

2.4 Third-Party Platform Data

When you connect Storeducks to third-party platforms (Etsy, TikTok, Instagram/Meta), we receive data from those platforms in accordance with the permissions you grant. The scope of data accessed is limited to what is necessary to provide the Services. We are not responsible for the data practices of those platforms.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account and provide the Services

  • To sync your product listings, inventory, and content with connected marketplace platforms

  • To send transactional and service-related communications (e.g., password resets, important updates)

  • To improve and develop our platform, including training internal AI/ML models on anonymized, aggregated data

  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

  • To respond to your support requests and feedback

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal data to serve third-party advertising.

4. How We Share Your Data

4.1 Third-Party Platforms You Connect

When you authorize Storeducks to interact with Etsy, TikTok, or Instagram/Meta, data is shared with those platforms as directed by you. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service.

4.2 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., cloud infrastructure, analytics, email delivery). These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

4.3 Legal & Regulatory Disclosure

We may disclose data if required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Storeducks, our users, or others.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

4.5 No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for monetary or other consideration. California residents: this includes “sharing” as defined under the CPRA.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.

Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

We block all non-essential cookies until you provide explicit, informed, granular consent via our cookie management interface. You may withdraw consent at any time. We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals from California residents as opt-out requests under CPRA.

7. Your Data Rights

7.1 Rights Under CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you

  • Right to delete: Request deletion of personal information collected from you, subject to exceptions

  • Right to correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information

  • Right to opt out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share data for advertising)

  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: As applicable

  • Right to non-discrimination: You will not receive worse service for exercising your privacy rights

  • Right to access: Receive a portable copy of your personal information in a usable format

7.2 Financial Incentives Disclosure (CCPA/CPRA)

Storeducks does not currently offer any financial incentives or price differences tied to the collection, use, or retention of your personal information. If we introduce any such program in the future, we will provide a separate written notice as required under California Civil Code Section 1798.125.

7.3 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at getintouch@storeducks.com. We will respond within 45 days (CCPA/CPRA), with an extension of up to an additional 45 days where necessary. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)

  • Access controls and role-based permissions

  • Secure handling of marketplace API tokens and credentials

  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links & Integrations

The Services connect to third-party platforms including Etsy, TikTok, and Instagram/Meta. These platforms have their own privacy policies and data practices, which are beyond our control. We encourage you to review their policies before connecting your accounts.

11. AI & Automated Processing

Storeducks may use your data in anonymized, aggregated form to train or improve internal AI and machine learning models. This data will not identify you individually. We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you without human review.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
